Navratri gives us a day-by-day breakdown of each manifestation of the divine feminine power- each of whom removed obstacles and problems. Navaratri does not talk about easy success or a shortcut to it. It signifies the victory that comes only by overcoming obstacles and evils.<\/p>

We all want to know how we should face and overcome obstacles in our lives. Each one of us has our own way of dealing with obstacles. Some of us may run away from it, others may brave it. Some suffer through pain, and a few may be simply confused and don’t know what to do.<\/p>

The significance of each day is described with a manifested form of the feminine Goddess Durga. Each form is associated with specific attributes symbolising unique powers and characteristics needed for us to overcome obstacles. A description of her beauty and weapons the Goddess carries and the colour she adorns are also given to us.<\/p>

Durga, in her various forms, engages in battles with many demons. These battles symbolise obstacles that must be fought and the triumph of good over evil for the protection of the universe. It is said that her forms evolve as she takes on different avatars to address different situations and adversaries.<\/p>
